Ziliz is a village in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Hungary
The immediately neighboring
settlements are: Nyomár from the northeast, Boldva from the south, Sajószentpéter
from the southwest, and Borsodszirák from the northwest.
It can only be reached by
road, on the secondary road number 26 137 branching off from road 2617 between
Boldva and Borsodszirák.
The Miskolc–Tornanádaska
railway passes through its outskirts, but it does not have a stop on its
territory; the closest railway connection is offered by the Boldva stop or the
Borsodszírák stop, both of which are approximately the same distance away,
approximately 4 kilometers each.
According to the 2004. census, the Ziliz had a population of 406.
